I provide web site consultation for small businesses and ministries looking to start their first web site or revamp a current one. After I have set up your web site, it is yours to run. The system I set up makes it easy to keep your web site up-to-date without outside help. Should you need assistance making changes or if issues come up, I am available at the rates below.
Initial Consultation ~ $25
During this one hour (maximum) consultation, we will discuss your web site needs, they types of web sites generally available and the type of web sites that I set up. We will determine if my services will be the best option for your web site. Consultation in person or over telephone/Skype.
All web sites ~
I set up your web site with the accounts in your name. You should make sure that you keep up with the yearly payments to the domain and web hosting companies. This is easy and I explain the whole process in the initial consultation.
The yearly cost for running a web site is between $60 and $120 for most web sites, in addition to consultation, but may vary based on provider and site needs. I am not responsible for these costs.
Basic Web Site ~ $300
Two payments of $150 – one before commencement of the project and one when project is completed. Does not include cost of web hosting or domain name – see “All Web Sites,” above.
I will set up the necessary web site and domain name hosting, install the web site software, and configure the site to your needs. I will give you initial training on management of your site. This will include conversations in person or over phone/skype on the style and layout of your site. Please be prepared with digital versions of your logos, letter head, business cards, or any other items which define your organization. In the event that you do not have digital versions available, you may send them to me for me to digitize.
E-Commerce Web Site ~ $400
Two payments of $200 – one before commencement of the project and one when the project is completed. Does not include cost of web hosting or domain name – see “All Web Sites,” above.
In addition to a basic web site, I will install, configure and test an online store system that will allow you to sell items and accept credit cards on-line. If you do not already have a PayPal account, I will assist you in setting one up. I will give you initial training on running your online store. You are responsible for all sales tax and income tax remittance.
Maintenance Service ~ $25
I will provide maintenance services to clients using a system I set up at a minimum rate of $25 per change/issue. Estimates for maintenance services are available upon request – we may be able to combine multiple changes or issues into one maintenance service.
Custom Design Work ~ Included or Estimate
Most web sites will require minor custom design work, including changes to the color scheme or custom header images. However, if more involved custom work is desired, either I or a design consultant will do the work at a pre-arranged rate.
